  • Clinical Pastoral Education (CPE)

    CPE is a rigorous education program consisting of both group instruction and experiential practice. Crossroads of Caring is an ACPE accredited CPE center and provides the highest standard of spiritual care education and formation

  • Equipped to Care (E2C)

    A program designed for those who wish to learn basic spiritual care skills for use in your own faith communities, in community placements or in your own caregiving contexts. Consists of a four hour workshop, five additional on-line modules and five monthly group consultations on Zoom with the educator and your cohort peers.

  • Journal Club

    Journal Club is a bi-monthly opportunity to read and discuss an article in the area of spiritual care research and evidence-informed spiritual care practice for all those interested in how religion and spirituality influences those we serve and ourselves as caregivers. We invite anyone interested in evidence informed spiritual care from any agency, clinical and/or congregational team, to join the discussion each month. We meet on the fourth Tuesday of the month at noon (EST). Registration is required.

  • Lunch & Learns (L&L)

    Staff at our ongoing Clinical Placement Sites have the opportunity to participate in six live on-line Zoom presentations on Spiritual Care topics each year. Invitations are sent through our sites. Registration is required to attend. The recorded presentations are available to everyone on our website.

  • Presentations and Outreach

    We can provide presentations for organizations and  religious or faith communities on spiritual care topics you need.  Sample topics include: Reflective Listening, Spiritual Assessment, Discovering Spirituality Groups, Grief and Loss, Feelings Beneath the Words (Learning Empathy), Practices that Nurture Spiritual Wellbeing.  Give us a call and let us know what you’re thinking.
